OUR HISTORY
Every adventure has a beginning
It all began over 30 years ago… Andrzej Grabowski started working at a primary school as a maths teacher. He noticed that many children were struggling with their multiplication exercises. He decided to help them! Drawing on his extensive experience as an athletics coach, he incorporated elements of sport and competition into his lessons. After many attempts, he created a special pack of playing cards, now known as Grabowski Math Cards. From that moment on, the children have looked forward to every maths lesson.
You’ll see a cartoon illustration of Andrzej Grabowski on the packaging of Grabowski Math Cards, as well as in the books describing the games, where he provides additional notes. You could say that when children play with the cards, they’re actually playing alongside their creator.
Mastering the multiplication and using it in everyday life is a problem for many children. I decided to change that.
